logwatch no root for root no output

Question

我在debian机器上遇到了logwatch问题。当cron的运行它，我收到一封电子邮件这样的：

No mail for root

如果我在提示符下运行logwatch它只是说“为根没有邮件。”但它在另一台debian机器（jessie 8.6兼具）上效果很好。而且几台Ubuntu 14和16机器也能正常工作。这台机器有很多活动，所以我不明白为什么没有输出。

我不知道发生了什么事情，但我重新安装Debian和现在logwatch的伟大工程。我猜有时候，即使使用稳定的Linux发行版，擦除和全新安装也能达到目的。不知道是什么导致问题开始...
