在没有预先编译资产的情况下改变Rails 3.2中的CSS不会改变样式

我升级了一个应用程序到Rails 3.2并在其上安装了Bourbon。当我在本地进行CSS更改时，出于某种原因，我没有看到任何更改。只有在我进行变更后预先编译资产时，才会看到它正在开发中。有谁知道什么可能会出错？

貌似previous question我还没有发现有答案。我所需要做的就是运行：

bundle exec rake assets:clean
